Netflix & Chill Night: Winter Edition
What's on YOUR must-watch list?
Oh Winter, I've got a love/hate relationship with you. I adore the Winter holidays, but I'm not exactly the biggest fan of Winter weather.
After a long semester in college and what seems like a billion finals later, I finally have some time to stay home and relax. My perfect Netflix & Chill night consists of binge watching Charmed and sipping some hot cocoa (with or without marshmallows, depending on my mood) all while wearing some comfy fleece pajamas and a cute bralette or oversized tee.
If you're hooked on Netflix like I am, but aren't sure what to watch, here's a list of some of my favorite movies and shows:
Movies:
- Amber Alert
- Beyond The Lights
- Breakfast At Tiffany's
- First Response
- Hush
Shows:
- Charmed
- Friends
- Shameless
- The Fosters
- Orange Is The New Black
What are your favorite things to watch on Netflix? Let me know in the comments below, I'm always looking for suggestions :)

Teen Vogue x Neutrogena Launch Event
Experience the power of light!
Last night I had the opportunity to attend the Teen Vogue x Neutrogena event at the New Museum in NYC. Being chosen as one of Teen Vogue's "IT Girls" has it's perks and I couldn't be any more grateful! Aside from having the chance to meet other amazing bloggers, models, publicists, etc., I also was able to test out Neutrogena's Light Therapy Acne Mask and take one home before it hits the shelves.
(Diana Veras (@mynamesdiana) and I (@ohsnapitzlizzie).
About the mask:
- Use daily for 10 minutes. Bad at keeping time? No worries, the mask will turn off itself!
- Comes with an activator that includes 30 daily treatments (must replace after your 30 sessions)
- Has a built in eye shield so you can watch Netflix, your favorite YouTube videos, or even read a book during your treatment.
- The therapeutic blue and red lights target acne-causing bacteria to help reduce the appearance of breakouts.
- Last but not least, the cute pink light looks BOMB in pictures. Get your snaps and instagram photos ready!
Ready to try it yourself? Check out the link here to sign up and be one of the first to be notified when the masks are available in stores and online.

Mathieu Mirano F/W 2016 Collection
It's a fashion lover's favorite time of the year, day one of NYFW has officially begun!
Today I had the opportunity to attend Mathieu Mirano's F/W 16 presentation at Pier 59 Studios. Inspired by his past trips to Egypt, Mathieu brought a taste of the desert with his latest collection to windy ol' NYC.
As soon as I walked into the room, I was immediately in awe. From the bold colors and eye-catching metallics used in his gowns to the sand and live tortoises walking around the models, I feel like his overall presentation was beautifully executed.

Winter Wedding Essentials
It's the most wonderful time of the year!
I can't believe it's been about a year since I last posted on this blog. For those of you who have stuck with me through my hiatus, thank you! For those of you that are new here, hello and welcome! With the Winter season rapidly approaching, I decided to have a little fun and put together what I feel would be essential for my dream Winter wedding. Before you ask, no I will not be getting married anytime soon, buuuut if I was, it would probably go a little something like this..
As it is a bit chillier outside, I decided to go for a long sleeved gown for a little extra warmth. Since this dress is a bit more covered up than the traditional gown, I felt like the lace detailing would be a perfect way to add just the right amount of sexiness.. enough to put a huge smile on the groom's face, and without making your guests cringe from being "too over the top." For accessories I'd opt for some cute silver accessories, such as drop down earrings reminiscent of icicles to add to the whole Winter Wonderland feel.
As for the groom, black is always a great way to play it safe. However, since this is a Winter inspired wedding, why not go for a nice midnight blue tuxedo? The tux pictured above is can be found here at TheBlackTux.com, where you can find inexpensive tuxedo rentals.
Invitations, Centerpieces, and Receptions.. oh my!
I don't know what it is, but I am pretty much obsessed with any shade of blue paired with grey or silver. Here's some decor I found to go along with this color scheme, hope it helps any bride-to-be with a little inspiration!
Of course, you can always alter and personalize any of the things mentioned above to your liking in order to make your special day the very best it could be. As always, thank you so much for reading. I'll see you guys in the next post!
xo, Lisette
