Valentine's Day Gift Guide

What is love?

Valentine's Day is much more than just getting something for your significant other. You don't have to have a boyfriend or girlfriend in order to celebrate Valentine's Day. As corny as it may sound, it is a day of love and that goes for just about anyone in your life. From friends to family members, or even your pets, there's nothing wrong with gifting your loved ones. Today I decided to put together a quick gift guide to help you get in the "holiday" spirit, without having to break your bank.

For You (Yes, you can gift yourself too)

I feel like lingerie is one of those things that can be both for yourself and your boo. I received this super cute velvet two-piece set from NaNika Lingerie and I'm in love with it. Aside from it being comfortable and stretchy, it is of great quality in general. It also came in a chic black and white box tied in a ribbon and if you know me, then you know that I'm a sucker for cute packaging. Lingerie can be a great way to boost up your confidence, even if you're the only one who ever sees it. Interested in treating yourself? NaNika is offering 20% off their lingerie AND free shipping up until February 14th. You can shop NaNika here!

For Him (Dad, Boyfriend, Brother, Uncle, etc.)

I've been seeing these Tile commercials everywhere and after doing some research, I think it would be a perfect gift for that guy in your life who always seems to be misplacing things. The Tile can be attached to your keys, wallet, suitcase, etc. and if something does in fact go missing, you can easily track it down via the Tile app. Bless technology! The Tile Mate retails at $25, while a pack of 4 Tile Mates would cost you $50.
Is the guy in your life not so technology-savvy? No worries, cologne, tickets to a sports game or concert, or a nice quality watch also make additional gift options.

For Her (Mom, Sister, Cousin, Girlfriend, etc.)

While giving flowers is a traditional gesture, I wanted to go a little bit out of the norm for this gift guide. I definitely recommend gifting some skin care products. While makeup is great, it is also a good idea to take care of your skin underneath it! Skin care products are also suitable for just about any age, which is a plus in my book. I'm a big fan of natural and handmade products. That being said, I think Buttercup Essentials would be a great small business to shop from as they have products for skin, hair, etc. Stores like Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx, and even your local drug stores carry nail polish and shower sets that would also be a great, affordable gift option. Since some might consider floral bouquets to be overrated, why not get someone a bouquet of fruit? I've been gifted Edible Arrangements a few times and loved them. They satisfied my sweet tooth without making me feel guilty afterwards.
